Education for Children

Many children in low-income areas don't have access to schooling. Some kids don't have the basics like books or clothes, and as a result, they're falling behind in school without the means to catch up. 

Teenagers often leave school early and never return because they must work to support their families. In addition, entire educational systems are understaffed, meaning that the local youngsters aren't receiving a quality education. 

The likelihood of engaging in harmful activities such as drug use, gang membership, and petty crime rises in direct proportion to a person's level of education. 

Lack of education is a surefire recipe for perpetuating poverty. Helping students from kindergarten through high school and beyond is made possible by donations to Geregera Keranyo's education initiatives.
